Woodroffe Benton Foundation Small Grant Programme

The Woodroffe Benton Foundation is an independent grant-making foundation that supports charitable organizations operating in the UK. The Small Grant Programme provides funding to UK-based charities and educational institutions across five main categories: relief of hardship, care for the elderly, education and youth development, environment and conservation, and human physical well-being. The Foundation operates through regular funding rounds with specific thematic focuses. The March 2026 round will focus specifically on intergenerational projects, defined as those that bring people of different generations together in purposeful, mutually beneficial activities promoting greater understanding and respect between generations, enhanced opportunities for learning and wellbeing, and contributing to building more cohesive communities. Applications are reviewed by Trustees at scheduled meetings, with successful applicants contacted within two weeks of the decision meeting.
