Masters Scholarship Programme

The Masters Scholarship Programme from Culham St Gabriel's offers teachers and others working in Religious Education, Religion Values and Ethics, or Religious and Moral Education (RE/RVE/RME) an opportunity to undertake relevant masters-level professional development at reduced cost. The scholarship provides up to £4,000 towards masters fees for UK residents working in the field. Participants will be part of a virtual community of practice that meets regularly to discuss research and disseminate findings. The programme is designed to directly lead to development, innovation, and improvement in RE/RVE/RME in schools, workplaces, local areas, or nationally. Scholars are expected to contribute to the wider religion and worldviews community and 'pay forward' their learning.

Leadership Scholarship Programme

The Leadership Scholarship Programme is a two-year funded programme designed for emerging Religious Education (RE/RVE/RME) leaders who are already working across a MAT, local area, region or in a national capacity. The programme provides opportunities to expand and deepen reflections on educational leadership in religion and worldviews education through tailored mentoring, structured challenges, research insights, and inspirational networking events. The programme develops leaders in four key areas: research engagement, curriculum engagement, political engagement, and classroom engagement. Participants receive 12 hours of one-to-one mentoring support per year, participate in a Community of Practice with four virtual meetings annually, and engage in research reading groups. The programme includes completion of Culham St Gabriel's short courses, blogging, presenting at conferences, and conducting research projects. Participants are expected to share new knowledge with professional groups, attend policy meetings, and contribute to national publications. The programme aims to help participants find their voice as leaders within the religion and worldviews education community and shape a leadership community for the future.
