Cliff Perrett Memorial Trust Scholarship

The Cliff Perrett Memorial Trust Scholarship was established in memory of Cliff Arnold Perrett (1931-2003), a Taranaki resident who had diverse interests including sports, breeding birds, growing gladioli, and history. Upon his death, he established a trust with the specific objective of making grants available to assist nurses from the Taranaki region to meet their education and training costs. The trust has been assisting local students with scholarships since 2006, and was transferred to the Taranaki Foundation for management in September 2021. The scholarship continues to honor Cliff Perrett's intentions by providing annual scholarships to nursing students from the Taranaki region. The Taranaki Foundation administers these scholarships with the goal of assisting two students each year, one from South Taranaki and one from North Taranaki, to support their nursing education and training expenses.
