The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) is a Quebec government agency that supports and promotes research excellence and training of the next generation of researchers. It funds research across three main sectors: Nature and Technologies, Health, and Society and Culture. The scholarship provides a flat amount of $3,000 CAD to cover round-trip transportation costs between France and Quebec, local travel in France and Quebec, and living allowances during the stay. The scholarship is designed to support research stays of a minimum duration of one month in France.
