The Storwell Self Storage Foster Children Bursary Program has been running for over 10 years in order to support foster children as they pursue post-secondary education. Storwell is a family run business spanning three generations, and they have been providing quality self-storage in Toronto and the GTA for over 20 years. The company feels responsible for sharing their success with those less fortunate by providing financial support to youth who were in foster care as they transition to college or university. This bursary is specifically designed for individuals who were in foster care, kinship care, or other alternative living situations through Canadian or American foster care programs. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at recognized general/vocational colleges or post-secondary institutions in Canada or the USA. The program aims to remove financial barriers and support these young people as they work toward their educational and career goals. The application requires details about the applicant's intended area of study, future goals, and care history verification through references. The deadline for applications is December 31st of each year, and the program is open to both Canadian and American citizens or permanent residents who are 24 years of age or less at the time of application.
