Forskningsprojekt - Brottsofferfonden
Brottsofferinriktade projekt
Brottsofferfonden offers project funding for civil society organizations, public and private entities working with crime victim issues. The overall goal of funded projects must be to increase knowledge about crime victims or to provide better treatment and support to crime victims. Examples include training for those active in civil society organizations, theme days or seminars for professionals who come into contact with crime victims, information materials aimed at crime victims, and projects that complement and develop regular activities with new methods for supporting crime victims. Applications are assessed competitively based on the applicant's competence and capacity to run the project, and projects must meet demonstrated needs in the crime victim field. Projects must benefit crime victims in Sweden and be conducted without profit motive. Funding is available for a maximum of one year at a time, and the fund may finance the full amount requested or parts of it.
Brottsofferfonden Forskningsmedel
Brottsofferfonden provides research funding to support research that will be conducted and managed at a university, college, research institute, or government agency with a research mandate in Sweden. The fund supports research related to crime victims and crime victim issues. Applications are accepted twice per year, with deadlines on April 1 and October 1. Decisions are made in June for April applications and in December for October applications. Research projects can be funded for up to three years, with funding decisions made one year at a time. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree by the application deadline to be eligible as principal investigators. For projects lasting up to 18 months, one application is sufficient, but longer projects require annual continuation applications for each project year.
