Saul Kagan Fellowship in Advanced Shoah Studies (Postdoctoral)

The Saul Kagan Fellowship in Advanced Shoah Studies supports postdoctoral researchers who are advancing Holocaust scholarship. The fellowship provides up to $30,000 per year to scholars connected to a university or research institution that supports their Holocaust research. Eligible disciplines include Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Jewish Studies, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Religion, Sociology, and Women's Studies, among others. Fellows must be able to focus on their research without external full-time employment commitments, though teaching a course as part of postdoctoral requirements is permitted. The fellowship can be renewed for a second consecutive year, subject to Academic Committee approval. Recipients are required to attend and present their research at an annual week-long summer conference. Fellows must commit to full-time employment primarily in Holocaust Studies on an academic level for a minimum of five years after completing the postdoctorate.
