Ekhagastiftelsen is a Swedish foundation established in 1944 by Gösta Videgård with the purpose of contributing to better public health by promoting the development of healthy foods, natural medicines, natural healing methods, and healthy living. The foundation supports scientific research in organic agriculture and food production, food quality and storage, nutritional physiology and lifestyle, as well as complementary and alternative medicine and natural remedies. It is the largest research foundation in Sweden within its field, annually distributing between 25 and 30 million Swedish kronor. Over the past 25 years, the foundation has contributed more than 270 million kronor to over 400 projects.
