The Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC) is a research institute that produces data-driven research to advance society's understanding of the global energy challenge. EPIC's mission is to confront the global energy challenge by ensuring Energy Markets provide access to reliable, affordable energy needed for growth, while limiting emissions that cause Climate Change and damages to the Environment. Funding Opportunities

Bartlett Fellowships

Bartlett Fellowships offer paid opportunities for Harris Master's students to gain hands-on experience in energy, environment, and climate economics and policy research through collaboration with EPIC-affiliated faculty at the University of Chicago. Thanks to the generosity of Harris alumnus John Bartlett and the Bartlett family, these fellowships enable students to assist faculty with research and data collection or conduct their own research projects under faculty guidance. Students are paired with EPIC-affiliated faculty to garner a better understanding of the research process. Research culminates in a final report. While research is the primary focus, fellows may also gain experience with grant and proposal writing, communications, and program coordination on an as-needed basis. Fellows are invited to participate in seminars, weekly workshops, and EPIC-sponsored conferences and events for which they may be asked to draft summary reports.
