Støtteordningen skal bidra til å dekke kostnader i forbindelse med oppgradering av el-infrastrukturen i boligselskapenes parkeringsanlegg og/eller kostnader til ekstern rådgivning og prosjektering for oppgradering av ladeinfrastruktur. Støtteordningen finansierer utbygging av el-infrastrukturen som muliggjør lading på boligselskapets parkeringsplasser. Det gis ikke tilskudd til selve ladepunktet på den enkelte parkeringsplass. Ladeanlegg som tildeles støtte må ha system for smart effektstyring.
