About
The Joe Humphries Memorial Trust (JHMT) is a UK registered charity dedicated to breaking the silence on Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS), creating a new generation of young lifesavers, and inspiring young people to fulfil their potential. The Trust was established following the tragic loss of Joe Humphries, who died while jogging in October 2012. JHMT works to raise awareness of cardiac conditions, provides CPR and defibrillator training programs, installs community public access defibrillators across Leicestershire and Leicester, and runs the Inspire Awards grants scheme to support talented young people in developing their abilities.
