London Hearts Defibrillator Grant

London Hearts is the leading heart defibrillator charity in the UK, providing charity grant funding to help businesses and communities obtain free defibrillators. The organization aims to ensure no one is ever further than 100 metres away from a defibrillator and has placed over 20,000 defibrillators in communities across the UK. The grant program helps make lifesaving defibrillators more affordable to communities and organizations through charity grant funding, with the goal of increasing survival rates from cardiac arrest. There are more than 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests across the UK every year with less than one in ten people surviving, but with effective and speedy delivery of treatment using CPR and a defibrillator, survival can be raised to 70 percent. London Hearts works with strategic partners including businesses, sports organizations, councils, and foundations to provide Public Access Defibrillators throughout the UK.
