The Pixel Fund Mental Health Grants

The Pixel Fund provides grants to UK-registered charities focused on the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults under 26 years old. Since 2011, the fund has distributed more than £1.5 million to a wide variety of mental health initiatives, from cutting edge dementia research to care in the community. The fund's aim is to support improvement in mental health by providing grants to charities registered and operating solely in the UK. While they understand the necessity of securing core funding for charities, they prefer to target grant-giving to specific projects that will provide a measurable difference to a charity's users. The Pixel Fund is particularly inclined to grant to projects or core work that directly reach children and young people, such as training or coaching of youth themselves rather than staff training. They operate a staged application process that begins with attending a Q&A meeting and includes multiple review stages before final approval by trustees.
