About
American Indian Services (AIS) empowers Native American youth and adults to achieve economic sovereignty while honoring cultural heritage. Established in 1981, AIS is one of the nation's longest-running American Indian scholarship non-profit organizations. The organization provides and funds comprehensive educational pathways and programs—including college scholarships, vocational and trade school training, workforce development, and entrepreneurial support—that bridge traditional values with emerging opportunities. Since 2005, AIS has awarded over 52,000 scholarships and invested $45 million into Native American students across 300 federally recognized tribes.
