About

The Ron Brown Scholar Program is dedicated to supporting and nurturing future leaders through education, mentorship, and community engagement. Since 1996, the organization has been providing scholarships, leadership development, and guidance to young African Americans to help them achieve their highest potential. The program offers three main initiatives: the Signature Scholarship providing $40,000 scholarships to African American high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to community service; the Leaders Network connecting scholars and alumni with career development opportunities and mentorship; and the Guided Pathway Support (GPS) Program providing African American high school juniors and seniors with guidance and resources to navigate the college admissions process. The organization has served over 700 scholars with a 99% graduation rate and annually serves approximately 2,000 students.
