Tennessee Promise Scholarship

Tennessee Promise is a last-dollar scholarship program that provides Tennessee high school graduates with tuition-free attendance at the state's community colleges and colleges of applied technology. The program is designed to increase the number of Tennesseans with post-secondary credentials and prepare students for the workforce. As a last-dollar scholarship, TN Promise covers tuition and mandatory fees not paid by other state or federal financial aid programs such as Pell Grants, the HOPE Scholarship, or Tennessee Student Assistance Awards. The program also includes a mentoring component that connects students with volunteer mentors who help guide them through the college application and enrollment process.
