The Hertie School is a social science university in Berlin that teaches, researches, and debates good governance and public affairs. COLFUTURO-Hertie School Scholarship
The COLFUTURO-Hertie School Scholarship is a joint graduate loan-scholarship program established in partnership between the Hertie School and Fundación para el Futuro de Colombia (COLFUTURO) to enable talented students from Colombia to pursue graduate studies in Berlin. The scholarship was created to inspire students to bring their learned expertise back to Colombia and participate in the country's growth. Recipients can receive a full scholarship from the Hertie School that covers 100% of study fees for the Master of International Affairs, Master of Public Policy, Master of Data Science for Public Policy, or Executive Master of Public Administration, as well as a loan-scholarship award from COLFUTURO to cover living costs in Berlin for up to two years and up to 50,000 dollars. Additionally, up to 9 COLFUTURO recipients can receive partial scholarships ranging from 25% to 50% of tuition fees. Students may be awarded additional scholarships after their return to Colombia. Applicants must be of Colombian origin, demonstrate passion for the development of Colombia, and show commitment to returning to the country after graduation to take an active part in its growth and progress, preferably in the public sector or academia.
