The membership also includes Australian registered Trade Mark Attorneys and IP lawyers. NZIPA advocates in New Zealand and Australia to advance IP rights, runs a Council of 9 members elected by Fellows, provides educational programmes to members and the general public, and offers information and support to its members. Patent and trade mark attorneys operate in the global arena across all sectors of industry to assist businesses in their key markets and to use intellectual property systems for strategic advantage.
