About
American Brother Foundation (ABF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created in 2019 by Elisa Camara to honor her brother, USMC Sgt. Mecot Camara, who was killed in the Beirut Bombing of 1983. The foundation serves veterans and military families by supporting military families, sponsoring educational scholarships for children of military personnel, and honoring and preserving the stories of local American heroes through digital veteran spotlights. ABF's mission is to share Mecot's love for local youth, his country, and fellow brothers-in-arms.
