Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation Scholarship

The Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors throughout the State of Wisconsin. The Foundation provides multiple scholarships including twenty $1,500 scholarships, one $1,500 Bruce Reuber WSTF Memorial Scholarship, and five $750 scholarships to students attending a technical college. Students whose families are served by participating local exchange carriers (broadband service providers) in Wisconsin are eligible. Academic excellence is considered but not paramount. The primary considerations are that the student has expressed a sincere desire to continue their education, has demonstrated the ability, and has financial need. Each applicant must be endorsed by a participating local exchange telephone company. Participating companies are primarily Wisconsin's community-based, rural broadband service providers. Large national broadband service providers like AT&T, Brightspeed, Frontier, and Verizon do not participate in the program.
