About This Opportunity

The 10kclub.io Scholarship is an annual award offered by the ANU College of Systems and Society to support later year students undertaking a program or Major in a Computer Science discipline. The objective of the award is to help build the recipient's passion, innovation and creativity within computer science. Funding for this award is provided by Spinify Foundation and other donors. Spinify is an organisation that brings motivational psychology and gamification together to deliver fun at work, increase staff engagement and enhance work productivity to drive business outcomes. The scholarship provides a stipend of $10,000 paid in two equal payments after the semester census date. Recipients must be continuing ANU students who have completed a minimum of 12 units of 3000-level COMP courses and can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to passion, innovation and creativity within computer science. The award is available to both domestic and international students enrolled in the School of Computing. The application process is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 requires applicants to submit a video pitch (no more than three minutes) articulating their idea, and Stage 2 involves shortlisted applicants presenting a 15-minute plan to the Selection Committee for how they intend to use the scholarship funding. The duration of the award is 12 months, with selection based on academic merit and demonstrated innovation.
