2002 Golden Bears Football Alumni Award

The 2002 Golden Bears Football Alumni Award is an annual award for undergraduate or graduate students at the University of Alberta who are members of the Golden Bears Football Team. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate students and 3.0 for graduate students on at least 18 units of course weight from the previous academic year. Entrance students are eligible with an admission average of at least 70%. The award recognizes excellence in football, both historically and in terms of future potential, as well as proven commitment to excellence demonstrated through dedication to a year-round training program and academic accomplishments. This endowed award was established by the Golden Bears Football Alumni to support student-athletes who exemplify the values of athletic excellence, dedication, and academic achievement.
