2002 Golden Bears Football Alumni Award

This award is presented annually to an undergraduate or graduate student with satisfactory academic standing at the University of Alberta. Undergraduate students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, while graduate students require a 3.0 GPA, on at least 18 units of course weight taken during the previous academic year. Entrance students are eligible with an admission average of at least 70%. Recipients must be members of the Golden Bears Football Team. Selection criteria include excellence in football (both historical performance and future potential), proven commitment to excellence as demonstrated by dedication to a year-round training program, and academic accomplishments. The award is funded through an endowment established by the Golden Bears Football Alumni.
