2025 Ellevation Scholarship

The 2025 Ellevation Scholarship awards ten $2,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors who are current or former English learners (ELs). Since the program began in 2018, over 40 students across the country have been awarded funds to help them begin their higher education journey. At Ellevation, the organization values the rich linguistic and cultural diversity that English learners bring to their classrooms and communities and is committed to supporting their success by providing opportunities that celebrate their strengths. The scholarship has been designed to address financial barriers that accompany higher education. Funds may be used at the discretion of the recipients to absorb costs including the purchase of technology such as laptops and monitors, costs of travel/moving for school such as flights and dorm supplies, the cost of school supplies including textbooks and other necessities, or to reimburse out of pocket costs for tuition. Applicants will be considered based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, and a statement of educational and career goals. Scholarship payments will be sent directly to the recipients by the end of July 2025, prior to the start of the fall semester.
