About this opportunity
The Commonwealth Scholarships Program is funded by the Australian Federal Government and aims to assist Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship, particularly those from remote and regional areas. The Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship assists students who have relocated from rural or remote areas to study with the costs of relocating and housing, providing up to $3,000 per study period. The Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship is available to regional students experiencing financial hardship to assist with the costs of studying, providing up to $1,500 per study period. Both scholarships are available for the normal expected remaining duration of the course and are designed to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in undergraduate or pathway courses at Curtin University.
