About this opportunity
The Curtin Medical School (Medicine) UCAT ANZ test Scholarship has been developed to encourage and support Western Australian (WA) Year 12 students intending to apply for the Medicine course at Curtin University in 2026, who are currently attending a secondary school in a rural area, to complete the UCAT ANZ test in 2025. The scholarship provides a reimbursement for the UCAT ANZ registration fee as well as an additional travel stipend to assist students from rural and remote areas in pursuing medical education. Any Western Australian secondary school Principal from rural schools can nominate students for this scholarship. Curtin Medical School classifies regions as being rural using the Modified Monash Model's remoteness category (MM) 2-7. The selection process is competitive and applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, with successful recipients being advised of their total scholarship value.
