About This Opportunity
The Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. offers three distinct scholarship opportunities for African American/Black high school seniors graduating from a Hillsborough County accredited public, charter, parochial, or private high school. The scholarships include: (1) Tampa Alumnae Scholarship for African American/Black female graduating seniors with a minimum 3.50 GPA who demonstrate accomplishments in special talents, leadership, extracurricular activities, athletics, or community service; (2) Educational Programs Scholarships exclusively for participants in the chapter's youth programs (EMBODI for males and GEMS for females); and (3) Daughters and Sons Scholarship available exclusively to children of Tampa Alumnae Chapter members. All applicants must plan to enroll at an accredited higher education institution in the U.S. for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Scholarships will be awarded at the Scholarship Awards Program on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
