2026 Artificial Intelligence Mini-Academy

The ORISE Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) Mini-Academy is a three-day program that introduces middle and high school students to AI and its applications. Students will engage in exciting and challenging activities over the three-day period to develop skills and knowledge that will help them grow into the technology leaders of the future. The program takes place at ORAU in Oak Ridge on June 1-3, 2026, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. This educational opportunity is designed specifically for rising 7th through 10th grade students and provides hands-on learning experiences in artificial intelligence. Priority is given to students who have not participated in the program in past years, with previous participants placed on an alternate list. The program aims to inspire and prepare the next generation of technology leaders through engaging, age-appropriate activities focused on AI concepts and applications.
