In the Mathematics category, applicants must submit a work in a specific domain area of mathematics such as Calculus, Fractals, Geometry, Number Theory, Algebra, Applied Mathematics, Analysis, Computer Mathematics, Combinatorics, Graph Theory, Game Theory, or Probability and Statistics. The scholarship requires submission of a formal research report with bibliography, a visual model representing research findings, and if applicable, computer code documentation. Applicants must demonstrate that their work represents a significant piece of scholarship, whether through exceptional creativity, a new idea with high impact, an innovative solution with regional or national implications, an important advancement that can be replicated, an interdisciplinary discovery with potential for positive change, or a prodigious performance.
