About This Opportunity

The Deadly Education Costs Scholarship (ICECS) aims to improve higher education access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This scholarship provides financial support to eligible Indigenous Australian students enrolled in enabling, undergraduate, honours or postgraduate courses at Federation University. The scholarship helps cover education costs with payments distributed throughout the duration of study, up to a maximum of 20 scholarship periods. Recipients must demonstrate low socio-economic status or financial hardship and provide documentation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. The scholarship is part of the Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship program and cannot be held concurrently with certain other Commonwealth scholarships.
