2026 Donald Rix Inspiring Business Excellence Scholarship

This award recognizes a self-identifying Indigenous OR rural (outside Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Greater Victoria) OR new immigrant youth (born outside Canada) Junior Achiever who has demonstrated significant growth in business skills, learning skills, leadership skills and/or entrepreneurial skills. The award recipient will receive $2,500 to support their diverse educational or other needs. Applicants must have participated in specific Junior Achievement programs including JA Company Program, JA Company Program for Indigenous Learners, Discover Your Pitch, JA Investment Strategies Program or JA Be Entrepreneurial in the last five years. The scholarship is designed to support Indigenous, immigrant, or rural youth who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, aged 29 and below, who have not previously received this award.
