About this opportunity
The JABC Award for Oratory and Presentation Skills recognizes excellence in the development of speaking and presentation skills among students who have participated in Junior Achievement programs. This award is designed to support students in business and community leadership through oratory excellence. Four participants will each receive $2,500 CAD to support their diverse educational or other needs. Award recipients will be required to deliver a one-minute speech at the annual BLBC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner & Induction Ceremonies to be held on June 8, 2026, in Vancouver. Applicants must submit a 90-second video addressing their JA experience and demonstrating their presentation skills. The award is open to senior secondary or post-secondary students who have participated in a JA program within the past two years, reside in British Columbia, and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
