2026 Ministry of Education (MOE) Huayu Enrichment Scholarship

The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan provides the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) for U.S. Mandarin/Chinese learners, including beginners, to study at any accredited Mandarin center at a university or college in Taiwan. The scholarship provides a fixed monthly stipend to support language learning in Taiwan for durations ranging from 2 months to 12 months. Recipients study at qualified university-affiliated language centers and receive comprehensive support for their Chinese language education. The program aims to promote Chinese language learning and cultural exchange between the United States and Taiwan.
