About This Opportunity
The Pledge2Success Scholarship Program provides tuition-free Associate degrees to 2026 high school or GED graduates from Broward County, Florida. The program covers free tuition and fees, up to 75 credits, towards an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program for up to 7 semesters. This comprehensive scholarship is designed to eliminate the burden of tuition costs for eligible students pursuing their college education at Broward College. In addition to covering tuition and fees, the program provides additional financial incentives of up to $2,000 per year through cost of living and merit-based incentive scholarships. Students can earn a $500 Cost of Living Incentive Scholarship and a $500 Merit Incentive Scholarship each term by meeting specific criteria including full-time enrollment and academic performance requirements. The program offers extensive wrap-around support services including career services, peer mentoring, personalized academic advising, tutoring, internships, transfer services, transportation assistance with Lyft, laptop loaner program, and food pantry access. To maintain eligibility, students must maintain full-time status (earning 30 credits per academic year), maintain a 2.0 GPA, and successfully pass 67% of enrolled classes each semester. Eligibility requires students to have graduated from a Broward County public, private, or charter high school in 2026, be an eligible Broward County homeschool 2026 graduate, or be a Broward County resident who earned a GED in 2026. Students must also complete a FAFSA with an annual adjusted gross income at or below $100,000 and qualify for Florida in-state tuition.
