About this opportunity
The Postgraduate Merit Scholarship supports passionate and high achieving students who are commencing postgraduate studies at Curtin University. The scholarship provides an annual value of $5,000 paid as a cash stipend of $2,500 per semester for the expected duration of the postgraduate course (based on a full-time study load of 100 credits per semester). The amount can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. This merit-based scholarship is available to domestic students including Australian citizens, permanent residents, permanent humanitarian visa holders, and New Zealand citizens who are commencing an eligible postgraduate coursework program in the first available study period for 2026. Applicants must have a minimum Course Weighted Average (CWA) of at least 65 from their most recent course of study and demonstrate passion for their postgraduate discipline. Recipients must maintain a CWA of at least 65 each study period to continue receiving the scholarship.
