About this opportunity
The Curtin Principal's Recommendation Award has been developed by Curtin University to encourage and support students who have chosen to study at Curtin University. Each West Australian high school principal can nominate two students for this award. Students can be nominated based on academic merit, showing most improvement during their high school studies, potential to achieve at university, adverse personal circumstances, or financial difficulties. The award provides a one-off cash payment of $1,000 that can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. Nominees must be domestic students (Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, or Permanent Humanitarian visa holders) who are high-school leavers in 2025 at a West Australian high school, apply through TISC with an eligible Curtin course as first preference, receive and accept an eligible course offer at Curtin for Semester 1 2026 in main round offers, and will be enrolling in at least 75 credits.
