About this opportunity

The Humanities Top Excellence Scholarship has been developed by Curtin University to reward and assist academically talented students who receive the top ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) within the Faculty of Humanities. This merit-based scholarship is designed specifically for year twelve students completing their WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) in 2025 who select a humanities undergraduate degree at Curtin as their first preference through TISC. The scholarship provides significant financial support throughout the duration of the recipient's undergraduate degree, paid as a cash stipend that can be used at the student's discretion for educational-related expenses. The scholarship is awarded automatically based on raw ATAR scores - no application form is required. Students simply need to apply through TISC with an eligible Humanities undergraduate degree at Curtin as their first preference and receive the top ATAR score within the Faculty of Humanities. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and achieve a course weighted average of at least 70 each study period to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship is deferrable for up to one year and will commence from the first semester of study in 2026.
