About this opportunity
The Hydratune Indigenous Scholarship supports and empowers Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students pursuing a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Information Technology by helping to ease the financial burden of their studies. Founded in 2018 by Indigenous entrepreneur Shane Lewis, Hydratune is transforming hydraulic maintenance by enhancing safety and efficiency, drawing on over 18 years of experience in WA's mining sector. The scholarship provides financial support for up to three years with a total value of up to $30,000 paid as a cash stipend of $5,000 per semester, along with guaranteed paid internship and mentoring opportunities with the sponsor. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment of at least 75 credit points per semester, maintain a minimum course-weighted average of 50, and pass all units attempted each study period.
