About this opportunity
The IGO Scholarship aims to support Curtin University students within the WA School of Mines (WASM) experiencing financial hardship while attending studies at the Kalgoorlie Campus. Preference will be given to those students who have relocated from remote/regional areas across Australia. The scholarship provides a one-off payment of up to $3,500, which can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards education-related expenses. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, have a minimum course weighted average of 60, be enrolled in at least 25 credits at the WASM Kalgoorlie campus, be residing in Kalgoorlie, and be from a low socio-economic background and/or experiencing financial hardship. Recipients must maintain a minimum study load of at least 25 credit points each study period at the Curtin Kalgoorlie campus and not receive any other scholarships from the same funding source or for the same purpose.
