About this opportunity
The Kwok and Yang Families Scholarship was established to support high-performing international students who are in need of extra support. The Donors understand the challenges faced by international students, having experienced moving to Australia to complete university studies themselves. They wish to support students that are academically high-performing but may require some additional financial support to relieve pressures. The scholarship provides a one-off cash payment of $2,500 that can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards accommodation, basic needs or education related expenses. Applicants must be international students enrolled in undergraduate courses at Curtin University's Western Australia campus, maintain a minimum course weighted average of 70, have completed at least 200 credits, and demonstrate financial need. Applications are assessed based on responses to application questions, current course weighted average, and demonstrated financial need.
