About This Opportunity

The Northern Star Resources Scholarship has been developed to support students based at the WA School of Mines in Kalgoorlie studying mining engineering or metallurgy who have strong passion for the mining industry. Northern Star Resources is one of the world's leading gold producers, with operating mines and exploration programs in Western Australia and Alaska. The scholarship provides financial support for up to a maximum of 2 years based on a full-time study load of 100 credits per semester. Recipients receive a cash stipend of $5,000 per semester with a total value up to $20,000. The amount can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards education related expenses. Additionally, there is potential for vacation work or casual employment during the final year of study with Northern Star Resources.
