About This Opportunity

The Shooting Stars Enabling Scholarship encourages and empowers female Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are experiencing financial need, to complete the Indigenous Tertiary Enabling Course (ITEC). ITEC equips Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with the skills and confidence needed to study at tertiary level and prepares them for a range of degrees and associate degree programs at Curtin University. This scholarship provides a one-off cash payment of $2,500 that can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards education-related expenses. The scholarship is specifically designed to support female Indigenous students enrolled in ITEC on-campus with demonstrated financial hardship and low socio-economic background.
