About this opportunity
The Drug Rehab USA Mental Health Scholarship is a $2,000 annual scholarship designed to recognize and reward students pursuing degrees in mental health fields. The scholarship aims to support aspiring mental health professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on individuals and communities. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for improving the lives of others and commitment to addressing the growing shortage of mental health professionals in the United States.
To apply, students submit a compelling piece of content explaining why they are pursuing a mental health degree and outlining the difference they aspire to make in the future. This content can take various forms, including an essay (500-800 words), video (up to 5 minutes), artwork, or any creative medium. A panel of mental health professionals and educators evaluates submissions based on clarity of purpose, impactful vision, creativity and originality, and demonstrated passion for mental health.
The scholarship is open to students enrolled in any mental health degree program at any university in the United States, including psychology, counseling, social work, psychiatric nursing, and related fields. Applicants must be current students and use their university .edu email address to apply. The scholarship funds can be used for tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
Applications are submitted via email to scholarship@drugrehabus.org using an .edu email address. The annual deadline is December 1st, with the award recipient announced the following year.
