4-H Academic Scholarship

The 4-H Academic Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen who are active members in 4-H Community Club in Mississippi. This scholarship recognizes incoming students who have demonstrated commitment to the 4-H program throughout their high school years. The award provides $500 for the first year of study at Mississippi State University, disbursed equally over two semesters. To qualify, students must meet minimum academic requirements including a 3.0 GPA and ACT score of 20 or SAT score of 1030. Applicants must be Mississippi residents and submit both the General Scholarship Application and a specific 4-H Academic Scholarship Application through the scholarship portal, along with verification of their 4-H Community Club participation from their county 4-H representative or the state 4-H office.
