About this opportunity
This scholarship aims to assist students undertaking an elective term in orthopaedic and traumatic surgery in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is funded by a donation from the AM Taylor Trust held by Australian Executor Trustees and was established in 2008 to provide financial assistance to students during their elective placement. The scholarship supports students in their third year of MD who are undertaking an eight-week or two four-week elective terms in orthopaedic and traumatic surgery at approved institutions. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, curriculum vitae, references, and a personal statement, and recipients may be required to attend an interview.
