The A Sean Macdonald Memorial Cross Country Award is awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing on a minimum of 18 units of course weight, who is a member of the Golden Bears Cross Country team and has fulfilled all team requirements as determined by the head coach. Recipients will be selected on the basis of excellence in cross country, tenacious effort, sportsmanship, leadership, and academic standing. This endowed award was established by friends and family of Sean Macdonald to honor his memory and support student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic excellence and academic achievement in cross country running.
