AACN Foundation Scholarships Program

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Foundation offers multiple scholarship programs designed to support nursing students at various educational levels, from baccalaureate through doctoral programs. These scholarships are made possible through partnerships with healthcare industry organizations and are available to students enrolled at AACN member institutions. The Foundation's scholarship portfolio includes several distinct programs: the AACN2 Pathway to Critical Care Nursing Scholarship (partnership between AACN-Critical Care and AACN-Colleges for students interested in critical care), Certiphi-AACN Scholarship ($15,000 in funding for background screening company partnership), Hurst Review/AACN Nursing Scholarship (for entry-level nursing students with outstanding academic performance), Deborah E. Trautman Future Nurse Leader Scholarship (funded by Liaison International honoring AACN's CEO), NurseThink-AACN Scholarship ($5,000 awards for master's and doctoral students pursuing nurse faculty careers), QGenda-AACN Scholarship ($5,000 awards three times yearly for undergraduate and graduate students), Scrubin Uniforms-AACN Scholarship (for baccalaureate, master's and doctoral students), and Uniform Advantage-GNSA Scholarship (for master's and doctoral GNSA members). These programs collectively aim to address the nursing workforce shortage by supporting the education of future nurses, nurse educators, and nurse leaders across the United States.
