AAFRD Special Crops Product Team Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. The award is designated for students majoring in Agriculture or Nutrition and Food Sciences, with a demonstrated interest in production or utilization of special crops or nutraceuticals and functional foods of plant origin. Recipients are selected based on academic standing. In the event that no suitable undergraduate recipient can be found, the scholarship will be open to students in a graduate program. The scholarship is funded through endowed funds by the Special Crops Product Team of Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development.
