AAPG Grants-In-Aid

The AAPG Grants-In-Aid program offers financial support to geoscience graduate students conducting research with direct application to petroleum geology, energy minerals, and environmental geology. The program provides grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 USD to support research-related expenses such as fieldwork and laboratory analysis. Approximately 80-100 grants are awarded each year to qualified graduate students worldwide. The funds are intended specifically for research-related expenses and do not cover tuition, books, room and board, or capital expenses. Applications must be complete and include academic transcripts and references.
