About this opportunity
The AAUW - Tarrant County Branch Scholarship supports students enrolled at Tarrant County College who are pursuing an associate degree and intend to continue toward a bachelor's degree. This merit-based scholarship awards two scholarships: one to an applicant who addresses the importance of leadership and/or volunteerism in their community, and one to an applicant who addresses the importance of leadership in their local business community. The scholarship is renewable for up to four semesters at TCC with maintained eligibility. Applicants must be Tarrant County residents for at least 12 months, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75, and enroll in at least 9 credit hours per semester. Preference is given to single heads of household with dependent children and candidates with a history of volunteer work and/or community leadership.
