About this opportunity
The Abigail Noble Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide an annual scholarship for a student who is graduating from Ligonier Valley High School. This single-year award of approximately $3,000 supports graduating seniors who plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school or 2- or 4-year college or university in Allegheny County. The scholarship requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and applicants must be graduating from Ligonier Valley High School. Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate financial need, plan to study nursing, and those who plan to attend an accredited church-related college and who display leadership and character. The application is managed through Scholarship America's platform and is available during the annual application period from early January to mid-February.
